St Lucia - A Place in the Sun

St Lucia, Jean Johansson

Jean Johansson jets off to the Caribbean Island of St Lucia to help house hunters Andrea and Gary find the perfect holiday home. With Gary currently living in Grimsby and Andrea in Northumberland, they’re desperate to buy a place together in St Lucia where they hope to spend up to six months of the year. Armed with a maximum budget of £205,000 Jean shows them five jaw-dropping properties, but will any of them be the one for Gary and Andrea?

About the area

St. Lucia, in the Eastern Caribbean, is hugely popular thanks to its lush landscape and tropical climate, with direct flights from the UK taking just over eight hours. The south of the island, with the famous Pitons and its colourful villages, has a distinctly local feel, while in the north are the vibrant towns of Castries and Rodney Bay, popular with international tourists. The combination of glorious golden sand beaches and natural rainforest makes this a unique location, and perfect for coming on holiday or moving over permanently.
