Lot et Garonne, France - A Place in the Sun

Lot et Garonne, France, Laura Hamilton

Laura Hamilton is coming to the help of Zoe and Neil who have both moved out of London and dream of permanently relocating to the beautiful countryside of Lot et Garonne in France. With their budget of £220,000, will Laura manage to find them their perfect French property?

About the area

An hour and a half flight into Bergerac and the same time again from there in the car, takes you to Lot et Garonne in south west France. Bordering Dordogne but slightly off the tourist trail, Lot Et Garonne is awash with stunning countryside and rolling hills, perfect for walking and cycling. Dotted in between are traditional market towns and medieval villages. Crossed by two rivers, the Lot in the north and the Garonne in the south, it’s also perfect for water sports like Kayaking as well as fishing. With acres of vineyards and orchards too, and countless Gites–traditional French holiday homes-Lot Et Garonne is the ideal location for a picture perfect break away from it all.
