About the area

At the centre of Portugal’s stunning southern coastline, Albufeira is super quick to reach from the UK, with flights into the main airport Faro taking less than three hours. For hundreds of years it was a sleepy fishing village but today it’s a lively resort with a string of bars looking out over the ocean and now it’s one of the Algarve’s most exciting places to be. The many golden sandy beaches are one of the big pulls for visitors, either coming to soak up the sun or to enjoy some more adventurous hobbies out on the water!
