Costa Calma, Fuerteventura - A Place in the Sun

Costa Calma, Fuerteventura, Lee Juggurnauth

Lee Juggurnauth is coming to the help of Erica and Ian who married just two years ago, but have known each other for forty years! And now they’re both retired they want to find the perfect holiday home on their favourite island of Fuerteventura in the Canaries, where they can escape the cold winters of the UK and relax in the year-round sunshine. With their budget of £170,000, Lee has 5 great properties lined up but will any be good enough for them to put in an offer?

About the area

The second largest of the Canary Islands, positioned some sixty miles off the north western coast of Africa, Fuerteventura is roughly a four and a half hour flight from the UK. As you would expect on an island that's part of Spain, the towns and villages here have quite a Mediterranean feel, but we’re much closer to the equator than your usual European holiday destination, meaning the weather is pretty special. With year round sun and winter temperatures often in the twenties. The south of the island is best known for its wonderful natural parks like the one in Jandia, great for walks and full of wildlife, along with some spectacular beaches, like Esquinzo perfect for swimming or sunbathing and Correlejo popular with kite flyers and surfers taking advantage.
