Having recently retired, Helen from Buckinghamshire is looking for her dream holiday home for her and her two children in La Zenia in south-eastern Spain, an area she knows very well. Helping Helen with this house hunt is her best friend Shelley, who also plans to come out and stay. For her budget of £105,000 Helen wants to find a 3 bedroom house or apartment with a communal pool. About the area

La Zenia in south eastern Spain lies around halfway–and 40 or so minutes drive-between Murcia and Alicante airports–both of which are about a two and a half hour flight from the UK. La Zenia on the south end of the Costa Blanca is a very popular holiday destination, particularly with Brits, who flock hereto enjoy its lively bars and restaurants as well as the sun sea and sand–but you can add another 'S' to those with shopping, as the town is home to the vast Zenia Boulevarde, the biggest retail centre in all of Alicante.
