Ben Hillman is on the Spanish east coast with Penny and Russell, helping them find a holiday home near the seaside town of Mojacar. They’re looking for a 2 bedroom apartment with a communal pool for their budget of £125,000, that’s a short drive to the beach. About the area

Mojacar is pretty easy to get to being just under an hours drive from Almeria airport with a flight time of around three-hour from most parts of the UK. Divided into a traditional hill town and lively beach resort with just over a mile between them you get the best of both Worlds here. And as other than hotels, buildings can’t be higher than three levels, it’s retained a traditional Spanish feel. Summer temperatures above thirty degrees, frost free winters and five and a half miles of beaches around Mojàcar alone, the town has become a favourite with Brits who in recent years have made up more than half of the international buyers in the area.
