About the area

With Gibraltar’s airport just up the road and Malaga, one of the busiest in Spain, a little over an hour away, Manilva is pretty easy to get to. White sand beaches, top quality local wine and a laid back lifestyle are the three things that come to mind when you think of this region. The modern architecture, high rise blocks and neon signs you find further up the costa del sol are replace here with traditional white washed houses, authentic local restaurants and lush vineyards. While Manilva village is set a couple of miles in from the coast, as a region it covers some great seaside locations, like rustic San Luis de Sabinillas, La Duquesa with its popular marina and La Chullera, best known for its beach.
