About the area

The part of the Costa del Sol we’re looking in lies between Marbella and Gibraltar in Southern Spain, and the easiest way to get there is to fly into Malaga which takes about three hours from loads of UK airports - then it’s just over an hour’s drive. The Western end of the Costa Del Sol is becoming increasingly popular with holiday makers and second home owners – largely due to the fact that it’s a bit more laid back and less developed than its eastern neighbour – and a bit more affordable in terms of property. We’re going to be looking in the area close to the lovely town of La Duquesa which is home to a stunning marina, along with some great beaches and some fantastic shops bars and restaurants.
