Sailing fans Nicole and Lee are planning to up sticks and move permanently to Aude in the south of France. With three children between them from previous relationships, ranging from ten to twenty-six, they’re looking for a property with plenty of space for visitors. About the area

The most popular gateway to this area is the fortified city of Carcassonne, with its airport currently receiving flights from London and Manchester. There’s also the train that can get you here from London in less than 9 hours. While the UNESCO World Heritage site at the heart of the city is clearly a massive drawn for people to this region, away from the crowds it offers that wonderful French mix of stunning rivers and lakes, often with beaches and water sports to boot, alongside rolling hills lined with vineyards producing some award-winning wines and picture-perfect villages where time has stood still!
