About the area

The best way to get to Calpe on the Costa Blanca in south eastern Spain is to fly into Alicante airport which takes around two and a half hours from the UK – then it’s about an hour’s drive Calpe is best known for El Penon de Ifach, the thousand foot tall rock which dominates the landscape here. You can climb it, but if you prefer your holidays to be a bit more sedate there are loads of great beaches to relax on, not to mention dozens of bars and restaurants to enjoy the view from. The surrounding area is a good mix of coastal resorts and pretty hillside towns and villages, meaning there are tons of options here when it comes to property.
