The island of Corfu holds a very special place in Lisa and Wayne’s hearts as that’s where they held their wedding last year. Now about to purchase a holiday home it was an obvious choice to head back to Corfu and the town of Kassiopi where they tied the knot. Laura Hamilton has 5 properties to show them for their £130,000 budget, but will she impress the newlyweds enough for them to put in an offer?

About the area

Corfu lies in the Ionian Sea just off the North west coast of Greece – and you can fly there in around 3 hours from the UK – then it’s an hour or so’s drive to Kassiopi in the north east of the island where we’re basing the search. Corfu, the seventh biggest of the Greek islands, has a population of around a 100,000, which more than quadruples in the busy summer months – good job the island has 115 beaches to fit everyone in! Wayne and Lisa’s favourite place Kassiopi is a former fishing village which is now one of the island’s most popular tourist destinations due to its simply stunning harbour which is lined with traditional tavernas overlooking the water.
