About the area

Benalmádena is pretty easy to get to, being just a twenty minute drive from Malaga airport, one of Spain’s busiest, welcoming flights from every corner of the UK. It’s also one of the most popular holiday spots on the Costa del Sol, with so many hotel beds and second homes that its population of eighty thousand, more than triples in the summer month. But luckily this location never feels too busy as it’s split over a number of different areas from the ‘Costa’ home to plenty of seaside fun, to the ‘Old Town’ packed with traditional restaurants and then Arroyo de la Miel.
