About the area
Torremolinos lies on the Costa Del Sol in southern Spain, and is less than a quarter of an hours drive from Malaga airport – the flight time from the UK is around 3 hours. Torremolinos is one of Europe’s oldest and most famous tourist resorts and it’s as well known for its nightlife as it is for sun sea and sand. The town has had a bit of a revamp in recent years with many of its older buildings replaced by more modern ones. We’ll also be looking in some of the neighbouring towns in this part of the Costa Del Sol which are slightly less lively but still have more than enough to keep anyone busy when the sun’s out – and when it goes down.
