About the area

Running from Alicante City down to Murcia this part of the Costa Blanca is pretty easy to get to with Alicante airport receiving plenty of flights from across the UK, all year round. The array of resorts, urbanisations, coastal towns and of course beaches along this stretch are extremely popular with holiday makers and permanent residents. In fact Torrevieja, one of the most popular, and home to two salt lakes, is ten percent British. Stepping away from the coast, there are also some great options that are growing in popularity, like Villamartin with its plaza and Formentera del Segura, full of traditional charm.
