Jean Johansson is coming to the help of Maxine and John from County Durham, who have been married for 24 years and together for more than thirty! Maxine first came to Cyprus aged 16 and fell in love with the island. She has since passed on her passion to husband John, and they’ve been coming back every year for the last 3 decades! Now, at last, the time is right for them to buy their very own holiday home. They have a budget of £150,000 and Jean has five great options but will any be perfect?
About the area
To get to Chloraka on Cyprus’s west coast, you fly into Paphos airport which takes around four and a half hours from the UK – then it’s about half an hour’s drive Chloraka, which is just outside the lively tourist town of Paphos, has the crystal clear waters and stunning beaches you’d expect in this part of Aphrodite’s island, but still retains loads of Cypriot charm and traditional architecture along with enough shops bars and restaurants to keep anyone busy – though it has a more relaxed vibe than its neighbouring party town.
