Jasmine Harman jets off to the seaside town of Sitges in northern Spain to help Richard find his dream holiday home, with the help of his best friend Peter. Richard first discovered Sitges over 20 years ago and has been coming back almost every year, ever since. Richard’s enjoyed countless holidays in Sitges - many of them with Peter. And there are lots of reasons why it’s just THE place for him. Richard has a budget of £210,000 for his new holiday home and Jasmine has 5 great properties up her sleeve – but will any be perfect?

About the area

Sitges has been called the St Tropez of Spain thanks to its beautiful beachside location, and abundance of culture. It’s just a 45 minute drive south of Barcelona, to which direct flights from the UK take under 3 hours. This former fishing village has a population of 25 thousand people but that number more than quadruples in the summer when tourists flock to its sandy beaches. And there are 19 of them no less – as well as a charming marina and lovely promenades. Slightly back from the coast is Sitges Old Town, bursting with historic monuments, art deco buildings and a bohemian energy.
