Craig Rowe is house-hunting in Mijas Pueblo on Spain’s Costa del Sol with Alistair and Jennifer from Milton Keynes. They first visited the area 20 years ago and have spent many happy holidays there since. About the area

Mijas is right in the heart of the Costa Del Sol, 20 miles east of Marbella and just a 20 minute drive west from Malaga, to which there are direct flights from the UK taking under three hours.

Mijas is made up of two main areas – the old town, or pueblo, found nestled in the slopes of the Sierra de Mijas mountains about five miles inland. And the coastal area, known as La Cala De Mijas which stretches for 8 miles with an array of beautiful sandy beaches.
