Haute Pyrenees, France - A Place in the Sun

Haute Pyrenees, France Jean Johannson

Jean Johannson is house hunting around the city of Tarbes at the foothills of the Pyrenees in Southern France with Julie and Derek. They’re looking for a two-bedroom house with the ‘shabby-chic’ style they love, that one day could become their permanent home. Julie also wants some land to start her alpaca walking business! With a £130,000 budget at her disposal, Jean has scoured the market to find five great properties, but will Julie and Derek fall in love with any enough to put in an offer?

About the area

It’s a stunning part of South West France that’s roughly a two hour flight from most UK airports or a ten hour drive from the ferry port at Calais.
Stretching from the Spanish border and the Pyrenees Mountains down to the beaches and resorts of the Mediterranean coast. We’re focusing our search to the west of the region an area dominated by stunning mountains and a real hotspot for all sorts of outdoor activities.
