About the area

Torremolinos lies on the Costa Del Sol in southern Spain, and is less than a quarter of an hours drive from Malaga airport – the flight time from the UK is around 3 hours. Torremolinos was the first major tourist resort on the Costa Del Sol and this busy and buzzing town has maintained its reputation for good times both on and off the beach ever since holiday makers started flocking here in the 1960’s. The town, which is home to more than 120 nationalities and is as well known for its nightlife as it is for what goes on when the sun’s out, has undergone a major revamp in the last few years with many of its older buildings replaced by modern ones.
