What's the appeal?

Jerez de la Frontera is a city in Andalucia about ten miles inland from the coast.It has its own airport with direct flights from London, taking about 3 hours. Jerez is brimming with culture, particularly in its old town where you can find its stunning cathedral and charming plazas, lined with cafes and restaurants with diners spilling into the sunshine. Close by is also the imposing Alcazar of Jerez, a fortress which used to house Arabic baths As well as being a centre for Flamenco, it’s also known as the city of sherry, which is what its name literally translates to.

We’re starting in a residential neighbourhood of the Old Town, called San Miguel based around its 15th Century church - it has a unique personality and is known for being an authentic and traditional area of Jerez. This property is a beautifully renovated one-bedroom penthouse in an old historic building in the San Miguel Quarter. The building used to be a family palace and still retains lots of original features, including a beautiful patio and wooden staircase leading up to the apartment.
