Kassandra Peninsula, Greece Laura Hamilton

Married couple of 33 years, Kathryn and Mark, are dreaming of finding their new forever home on the beautiful Kassandra Peninsula in the north of Greece and have asked Laura Hamilton for help. The couple need loads of space for their grandchildren and their puppy Dixie to run around, but since Mark is a keen snorkeler their perfect property also has to be close to the sea. For a budget of £80,000 all that could be a challenge, so will Laura sink or swim with the five great options she’s got lined up?

Kassandra Peninsula

About the area

The Kassandra Peninsula is the westernmost of three peninsulas which extend out into the Aegean Sea – and it’s the most popular of the trio with holidaymakers, who come here from all over Europe; the population grows from around 3,000 in the off season to around 25,000 in the peak holiday period. According to Greek mythology, the area was a battleground used to banish the Gods from Mount Olympus. Now this very versatile area attracts tourists drawn to its mix of lively seaside towns, hidden coves and beautiful scenery.
