Western Cyprus - A Place in the Sun

Western Cyprus is a more peaceful destination for holidaymakers and nature lovers than the more metropolitan and busy Eastern side of the island where the biggest cities are (Larnaka, Limassol, Nicosia). It has many unspoilt beaches, picturesque marinas and places of natural beauty like the protected Lara turtle beach and Akamas national park. It also has several sites of historical and archaeological interest, old churches and traditional villages. It takes four hours to fly from the UK to Paphos.
