Inland Malaga, Spain - A Place in the Sun

Inland Malaga Danni Menzies

After his wife sadly passed away a few years ago, John from County Durham now feels ready to try and make a new life for himself by retiring to Spain. He grew up on a farm and misses the countryside, so he thinks there’s no better place to be than in rural inland Malaga. With friend Ruth coming along for support, John is calling upon Danni Menzies to help him find the perfect property for his £140,000 budget, and Danni has hunted out 5 great options for him to see, but will any be John’s new dream home.

Inland Malaga

Why buy here?

Inland Malaga in southern Spain is easy to get to, with more than 100 flights from the UK landing at Malaga airport each week – the flight time’s around 3 hours. The city of Malaga is one of Spain’s best known tourist destinations, but away from the sun sea and sand there’s loads to offer. Inland Malaga is known as the orchard as it’s one of Spain’s most fertile agricultural areas. And you can sample this tasty produce in the traditional Spanish towns and villages that are dotted about the area – while still being less than an hour’s drive from the coast.
