Retired couple Marie and Chris were looking for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom holiday home in Manilva on Spain’s south coast with outside space and some views. With a budget of £130,000 Danni Menzies showed them 5 properties, but it was her last property with frontline sea views which really won them over and their offer of £115,000 was accepted. Almost four years later, Danni travels back to Manilva to meet up with the couple, to check out their new kitchen, bathrooms and decoration they have had done to the apartment. Plus they all head off to visit their favourite place – Gibraltar, just a 40 minute drive away!

John was searching for a permanent home on the island of Skopelos in Greece, a place he had visited many times, and was made famous by the film Mama Mia which was filmed there in 2008. He wanted a traditional townhouse for his budget of £120,000. Ben Hillman showed John 5 properties, and finally it was an upside townhouse that finally won him over, and he bought it for just under £90,000. Four years later Ben Hillman returns to the island to see what changes John has made to the property to put his own stamp on it, and finds out there have been some changes in his personal life too! Plus, as John is a keen photographer - Ben tries his hand with a bit of modelling!
