Ben Hillman catches up with Eileen and Richard 4 years after they bought their dream holiday home in Oroklini, Cyprus. Danni Menzies re-visits Golf enthusiast Peggy and her mum Coral who bought an apartment on the Costa del Sol and finds out all is not as it seems!

Eileen and Richard were looking for a 2 or 3 bedroom property with some outside space in and round their favourite village of Oroklini in Eastern Cyprus. The couple have been holidaying on the island for 20 years ever since Eileen’s dad moved there. They had a budget of £140,000 and Ben Hillman showed them 5 properties. The couple were torn between 2 apartments, but finally they bought Ben’s fifth property – a 2 bedroom penthouse apartment which they bought for £107,500. Ben heads back to the island to meet up with the couple and see how they’ve made the apartment their own and what changes they have made. Plus they invite Ben to join them for a run to explore the local area!

Golf fan Peggy along with her mum Coral were searching for a two bedroom apartment around the golf courses on the Costa del Sol. With her budget of £115,000 Danni Menzies showed her five very different properties. In the end Peggy was torn between the last two she was shown but finally chose the fourth property – a new build 2 bedroom apartment in La Duquesa with double terraces and a communal pool, and was thrilled when her offer of £110,000 was finally accepted. Unfortunately the deal didn’t go through and 5 years later Danni Menzies heads to Murcia, 300 miles away from the original search area, where Peggy has just made a permanent move to and bought a 3 bedroom villa with a private pool on a golf resort for £330,000! Danni catches up with Peggy and Coral, checks out her fantastic new villa, plus they head to the seaside town of Puerto de Mazarron.
