Budget: £150,000
Date of house purchase: March 2017
Janice and Steven from Milton Keynes decided to make a permanent move to Estepona on Spain’s Costa del Sol. They sold their house in the UK, and had a budget of £150,000 for a 3 bedroom property with some outside space. Jasmine Harman showed them five great options – but in the end they chose Jasmine’s third property – a 3 bedroom apartment with a spacious balcony and great communal pool which they bought for just over £142,000. Jasmine returns to Estepona to meet up with the couple who are truly loving their new life, and to see how they’ve put their own stamp on the property and made it their permanent forever home. Plus they invite Jasmine to join them at their local bowls club for a game!

Suzi and Andy wanted a rural holiday home in the Charente countryside in western France. They were looking for a house with a garden for getways with their 3 children, and with the possibility of a gite so that other family members could come and stay. Sara Damergi found five great options for their budget of £110,000 – and finally the couple chose property 3 – a converted barn with 4 bedrooms which they bought for £105,000! A couple of years later Sara returns to Charente to meet up with the recently married couple and takes a tour of the house to see what changes they’ve made. Plus they invite Sara to join them for a workout, cycling along an abandoned railway line!
