A Place in the Sun Live returns to the capital
This weekend we welcomed more than 4,400 visitors through the doors of London Olympia for our overseas property exhibition A Place in the Sun Live! We brought together a huge range of exhibitors who were all on hand to offer advice to house hunters, wherever they were in their overseas property purchase journey!
It was fantastic to be joined by so many enthusiastic house hunters, who all came prepared to take the next step towards making their dream of owning a property abroad a reality.
Exhibitors from around the world
Exhibitors had flown in from 19 countries to help visitors with every aspect of their property purchase journey - they included estate agents, lawyers, tax and wealth specialists, mortgage brokers, currency specialists, residency experts and more!

Special guests
Alongside a huge range of exhibitors, we were joined by the stars of Channel 4's A Place in the Sun TV show! Jasmine Harman, Laura Hamilton and special guests Ben Hillman and Craig Rowe appeared on stage to tell packed audiences about their experiences on the TV show, and to share their top tips for house hunting and buying abroad.
House hunters also had the chance to chat to the presenters in person, take selfies and have their show guides signed!
On Sunday, we reunited Craig with his house hunters John and Diane. They filmed an episode together in 2021, and came along to tell us about the experience - and to catch Craig up on what happened after filming ended!
Informative seminars
As well as talks with our presenters, we had a jam-packed schedule of seminars taking place across four stages, all weekend! On the main Hub our visitors heard about everything from how and where to buy a property in Spain, to planning a permanent move abroad and more.
Our hosts were joined by a number of expert panellists including lawyers, tax experts, currency specialists and estate agents. They were on hand to offer advice and to answer some brilliant live questions from our audience.
Those searching for properties in France were spoilt for choice in the French Village which had a full schedule of seminars - these in-depth sessions provided great insight and practical advice on all aspects of buying and moving across the Channel.
Our Florida Pavilion similarly provided detailed advice for those wanting to buy in the Sunshine State - including a Q+A with Claire and Martin Steggles who bought two buy-to-let properties in Florida, that now fund their holidays to the States!
