Jasmine Harman reunites with her TV house hunters

Did you know that Jasmine Harman has just recently finished filming her 350th episode of A Place in the Sun? That's over 8,000 hours of captured footage!

Since her debut on A Place in the Sun: Home or Away back in 2004, Jasmine has helped thousands of aspiring overseas property owners find their dream home abroad, which has taken her all across the world and through the front doors of thousands of properties, with many success stories along the way.

So we thought, what better way to celebrate her 350th episode than to reunite Jasmine with two of her former house hunters that she met for the first time in 2017, to find out how their life has been post-purchase.

Ian Steadman and Maria Callaghan from Essex took a screen test at our A Place in the Sun Live show two years ago and eventually got their call up to film over in Spain with Mrs Harman herself.

It was because of the exhibition and TV programme that Ian and Maria are now proud owners of their two-bedroom apartment on the Nordic Royal Club development in Spain's Costa del Sol region. They bagged a real Spanish bargain at £119,000, which was below the asking price.

So, how did the exhibition and TV programme help Ian and Maria with their property purchase? Jasmine caught up with them both exactly two years to the day from where it all began for them, at A Place in the Sun Live at Olympia London.

Ian and Maria attended A Place in the Sun Live as special guests for our popular meet the buyers seminar, where we invite current owners of overseas properties to The Hub stage to talk in-depth about their buying experiences.

If you're interested in hearing more about Ian and Maria's story then you can view their case study here. Alternatively, visit us at our next A Place in the Sun Live event at the NEC Birmingham between 20th - 22nd September 2019 to hear stories from two other former TV house hunters.

See you there!
