Press release
A Place in the Sun Live, Europe’s largest overseas property exhibition and an extension of the popular television series, will be celebrating its 10-year anniversary at NEC Birmingham.
Since 2007, A Place in the Sun Live has been helping individuals from Birmingham and other parts of the UK locate their dream overseas property, meet the stars of the TV show and also apply to appear on a future episode of the programme.
“We attended A Place in the Sun Live at the NEC Birmingham in 2015 where we found plenty of useful information to help us with our property search”, say Geoffrey and Michelle from the West Midlands, who bought their dream property in Almeria, Spain last year.
“It gave us the kickstart we needed to buy our much-desired holiday home in Spain, and we’re thankful for all the advice and guidance the exhibition provided. We’d certainly recommend it to anyone looking to buy a property abroad.”
With Brexit probing many questions amongst aspiring overseas property buyers, A Place in the Sun Live has, and will continue to allow UK citizens to seek the professional advice they need to facilitate their dream move abroad. This can be obtained in a number of useful Q&A’s, seminars and panels discussions at the show.
“Despite Brexit, UK nationals wanting to purchase abroad still find themselves in a strong position”, says Andy Bridge, Managing Director of APITS Ltd.
“And for those looking at a more permanent move, just last week a deal in principle was agreed by negotiators in Brussels that British pensioners in other EU countries will retain usage of the EHIC card, which is great news. The British still buy more property in Spain than any other nationality and that does not look like changing”.
A Place in the Sun Live at the NEC Birmingham will be taking place between 22-24 September, and tickets are still available to purchase for the three-day event.
