The marina beach front offers beach bars and lidos and a small Acqua Park, children’s play area and a variety of seasonal activities. It has a good railway station which gives easy access to anywhere on the west coast.
Within a short drive of Serra d’ Aiello is the town of Lamezia/Nicastro, where there is a vast array of amenities afforded by the principle town for the area together with a zone of archaeological interest and within easy reach is the thermal springs of Lamezia Terme – and Health Spa – La Caronte. The Property is also conveniently positioned to explore many other traditional villages and the stunning National Park of La Sila is approx. 1 ½ hour drive away, where you can take advantage of the many year-round activities that are on offer, including walking, pony trekking, quad bikes and in the winter months, skiing. Within easy reach via the Autostrada A3 is Reggio Calabria where you will find the Museum that houses the Bronzes of Riace among many other articles of archaeological interest
Access to the property, of approx. 56msq, is via steps leading to an entrance off the street with a room off to the left then opening into a room used as a bedroom at the moment. Stairs lead to the upper level where there is a kitchen and a bathroom. The house does require modernisation/renovation work but the structure is sound and as it’s a traditional building benefits from thick stone walls. Compact but ideal for a get away bolt hole.
