Next week A Place in the Sun Live, Europe's largest overseas property exhibition, will be re-visiting the NEC Birmingham for a weekend dedicated purely to purchasing properties abroad.
There will be a wide range of exhibitors in attendance at the NEC that specialise in legal, finance, tax, currency and removals, as well as estate agents with an impressive portfolio of properties for sale worldwide.
Plenty of seminars, Q&As and panel discussions will be taking place across various stages at A Place in the Sun Live to help our visitors decide on what and where to buy, and how to avoid the common pitfalls. Several of these will feature our star-studded lineup of TV personalities Jasmine Harman, Jonnie Irwin, Laura Hamilton and Amanda Lamb, who'll be on hand to personally offer their advice.
This also includes our popular 'meet the buyers' programme, returning to the NEC Birmingham for its second year, where we'll be reuniting both Jasmine Harman and Jonnie Irwin with their former TV house hunters who bought properties following their time on the big screen.
Jasmine Harman will be catching up with Paul and Lisa from Barnsley who bought in the Spanish town of Torrevieja, on the Costa Blanca. Whilst Jonnie Irwin will be meeting Richard and Maureen for the first time since they filmed together in late 2018, who went on to purchase an apartment in Mijas, on the Costa del Sol.
Both talks will give our visitors the opportunity to find out what's it like to appear on the TV show and how both couples have adjusted to their new lives. Jonnie's talk will be taking place on Saturday 21st September at 12:45 pm, whilst Jasmine's will be taking place on Sunday 22nd September at the same time.
And if you're that way inclined like our guest speakers, our production team Freeform Media will be conducting screen tests with individuals wanting to appear on the hit TV show. Just tell them where and what you're looking to purchase, as well as your budget, and you may well be appearing on Channel 4 very soon!
