Croatia is set to become a member of the EU in the middle of 2013 providing a boost to its tourism and economic prospects that potential investors should make the most of, according to the country's property experts.
Local agent Croatia Property Ltd highlights the island of Krk, known as the golden island, as one that overseas property-hunters should consider. Among the sunniest parts of Europe, Krk has 2,500 hours of sun per year and limited rainfall.
The average summer temperature is 28 degree C and the average temperature of the sea between June and September is 24 degree C. Access is also easy with direct flights from London Stansted to Rijeka airport on the island.
The company is currently marketing a 200 m2 six bedroom property on Krk with an attached restaurant and a terrace large enough for 90 guests for £395,000.
To find out more about the other Croatian properties the company is marketing check www.croatiapropertyinfo.com or visit Croatia Property Ltd on stand A26 at A Place in the Sun Live which takes place between the 28th-30th September 2012 at NEC Birmingham.
Tickets to the exhibition are available now priced at two for £15 and come with a FREE six month subscription to A Place in the Sun magazine.
