A new ski development in Grindelwald in the heart of the Swiss Alps has been launched by GriwaPlan
The luxury alpine residences range from one bedroom apartments with a 53 m2 footprint, to a three bedroom property with 190m2 worth of space. All apartments offer mountain views, fireplaces and generous sized balconies perfect for barbeques in the summer, plus there is a chance to have your own choice of fixtures and fittings installed. The 12 apartments in the boutique development are currently under construction and are expected to be ready by August 2013. Prices for the properties are available on demand.
Ski properties are growing in popularity with overseas property buyers looking for an investment with year round rental and holiday potential. According to the latest research by Savills and HomeAway.co.uk, of the UK owned holiday homes overseas, 9% of them are now ski properties, as more people see the lifestyle and financial benefits of owning a home on the piste.
