The property market in Brazil has been recognised as one of the best performing in the world, with only Delhi showing greater growth.
Figures published by Global Property Guide found that the price of property in Sao Paulo climbed by 19.79% in 2011 when compared with 2010, while a 5.41 per cent quarterly increase was recorded in the final three months of last year.
Matthew Montagu-Pollock, editor of the publication, believed that there were a number of factors that have contributed to the improving fortunes of property in Brazil. One of them is the performance of its domestic economy which has boomed as a result of infrastructure investment.
"Many people have forecast that Brazil's boom will come to an end, but there is little sign of that happening at the moment," he concluded.
Dean Thomas, managing director of DLT Property, a developer operating in the nation, agreed, noting the country is "definitely rising up in the property ranks".
Taking place between the 30th March-1st April 2012 at London Earls Court, the exhibition will bring together agents, developers, furniture suppliers, lawyers and members of the financial services industry all under one roof to give you the advice and inspiration you need to make your move abroad a success.
