The new series of A Place in the Sun hits your screens on Monday 6th February, visiting winter sun destinations and with a brand new presenter joining our established lineup.
Laura Hamilton, star of Dancing on Ice and property aficionado, will join Jonnie Irwin and Jasmine Harman for the first series of a new show- A Place in the Sun: Winter Sun, helping the team in investigating the top winter sun destinations of the Caribbean, Florida, Spain and the Canary Islands. Alongside the other presenters Laura, who has been investing in property since the age of 20, will be digging deep to find out what's really happening in each of the area's property markets.
Since the last series aired the global recession has shaken the markets completely, meaning that bargain properties in dream locations are now more within reach than ever. Good news for our house hunters, who will hopefully be helped with finding their dream overseas properties within budget.
The series will air every weekday at 11am on Channel 4. In A Place in the Sun: Winter Sun episode 1 Laura helps house hunters the Framptons from Hampshire look for property in Torrevieja, on Spain's southern Costa Blanca.
