The courtyard is a good size and has plenty of room to enjoy your meals outdoors. At the back of the courtyard there is a green patch that could lend itself to plants, if desired.
Additionally, there is also an access from the road to the courtyard through a pedestrian gate at the side of the property.
The property sits on a very quiet, residential road, with plenty of parking available.
Location
Nadadouro is very well placed between the Foz do Arelho and the main town of Caldas da Rainha. The village features a school, a pre-school/nursery, a couple of cafés and restaurants and a large community centre. It is ideal for people looking for the quiet side of a village within a very short distance of a larger town.
5 minutes away from the property is the stunning Foz do Arelho beach and Óbidos Lagoon. The beach area is lined with a selection of cafés and restaurants. On one side there is the ruggedness of the Atlantic Ocean and on the other the safety of the Óbidos Lagoon, making this a safe beach for families to enjoy. There are many outdoor activities carried out here including windsurfing, kayaking, sailing, paddle boarding and other water sport activities. There is a sailing school where you can take lessons and rent equipment. The village of Foz do Arelho has several mini-markets, cafés, restaurants, a bank, hotels, and one of the most scenic and beautiful beaches in the area.
Just a five-minute drive is the main town of Caldas da Rainha. Caldas is a historic spa town, where you can find all amenities. There is a hospital, schools and the council for the municipality. The town also has a variety of restaurants from various cuisines, shops, supermarkets and a very popular farmers’ market, where you can find fresh vegetables, fruits, and flowers.
Caldas is famous for its ceramic industry, one of the most characteristic ceramic styles in Portugal. Caldas also has a wonderful park, with a large pond, where you can see a variety of birds. The park houses different activities and events throughout the year.
Lisbon airport is just under an hour's drive from the property.
