The beaches of Mojácar, Garrucha and Vera are only 15 minutes drive away and the A7/E15 is close making travelling times to Almería, Murcia and Alicante airports 45, 80 and 120 minutes respectively.
Golfers have a varied selection of courses to choose from in the area including Marina Playa on the coast, the Arizona style course at Desert Springs and the Valle del Este with 4* Hotel & Spa just a few kilometres away.
Walking, bowls and craft clubs are also plentiful; as are health, fitness and wellbeing ones with running, cycling and swimming clubs plus yoga and fitness classes with some taking place on the beaches of Mojácar and Vera. There is always something that you can get involved with should you wish to.

Los Gallardos is a popular destination for the Spanish and tourists alike for the annual Three Kings celebration and re-enactment in January and also the grand 5 day & night fiesta held in July. The village has received considerable funding through more recent years to build a new health centre, school, sports facilities and theatre.
