Uzumlu also has a direct dolmus bus route into Fethiye Town and beyond, which runs several times daily.

The quiet mountain location does mean a vehicle may be considered essential, however there is a dolmus bus service running in Kizilbel. There are some local shops and a few amenities within Kizilbel village itself.
