Located just outside the village of La Croisille sur Briance, in the Parc Régional de Millevaches en Limousin, on a plot of just over 5,000 m², this renovated former barn awaits its future owner!The house The house consists of an entrance hall opening onto a 45 m² high sitting room equipped with a built-in fireplace. This bright room, consisting of a sitting and dining area, has French doors opening onto an east-facing veranda and French doors opening onto a south-facing terrace. The kitchen, in rustic wood, is L-shaped. On the ground floor, there is a separate toilet and a bathroom open to a master suite. The bedroom also has French doors opening onto the veranda. 
The veranda (47 m²) has a summer kitchen, barbecue and bread oven: an ideal place to spend quality time with family and friends. An annex has been created, where you will find the heat pump, washing machine, dryer and shelves for storing lots of stuff. A single-storey house and therefore life-or wheelchair proof ! 
A wide wooden staircase leads to the 1st floor. The spacious landing, with a beautiful wooden floor, gives access on one side to a bedroom (17 m²) and a spacious bathroom equipped with a washbasin and luxury bathtub. On the other side of the landing are two fine bedrooms (13 m² and 14.5 m²). The mezzanine is used as a TV/reading area.The garden Outside, a beautiful heated swimming pool of 4 * 12.5 m makes this house unique. Numerous fruit trees have been planted in the garden. The total area is 5,044 m², but it is possible to enlarge the plot slightly to come to a total of about 6,500 m². You overlook the meadows and rolling countryside on the south side.
On the south side, the garden is bordered by an agricultural plot. The winter wheat has already been sown. There is no overlooking, as the house is in a small, quiet lane with no neighbours.Energy label B The house has a good energy label, confirming its modern comfort. It is heated by an air/water heat pump and underfloor heating. A built-in fireplace in the living room provides a romantic atmosphere in the winter months. Because the exterior is clad in wood, it looks like a (fairly) recent house, but nothing could be further from the truth. Only the thickness of the walls betrays that the house used to be used as a (cow) barn. 
The house does need refreshing in a number of ways, as does the garden.Access and commodities The house is located in the commune of La Croisille-sur-Briance, just a few minutes' walk from the village centre with all basic amenities, a local school and a neighbourhood pub. On the 18th of the month, when the Foire is held in the village attracting many people from the surrounding area, you will not notice any of the crowds because of its location. The house is just over 10 minutes from the shopping villages of Châteauneuf-la-Forêt and Saint Germain les Belles. Both villages have a swimming lake, a campsite, a large supermarket and a collège. Limoges city centre is about a 40-minute drive away.
