This building for sale in the heart of Trieste, a stone's throw from the sea, made the history of the Friulian city. Fair witness of the ruling class Triestina who dominated the urban center between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, the palace of about 1500 square meters was built inspired by the magnificent works of Venetian architecture built in the seventeenth century by the famous architect Baldassarre Longhena.
The property develops on several floors for a total of almost 1500 square meters, has numerous salons, can accommodate up to 16 rooms and offers, at the last two levels, a wonderful lodge from which you can enjoy a panoramic view boundless on the city and the sea Triestine. The palace is embellished, at the behest of the clients of the early 1900s, by a vibrant mixture of styles, including the Venetian style of the seventeenth century of the famous Longhena.
Inspiration for the construction of this magnificent building are the Cà Rezzonico Museum and the Cà Pesaro gallery in Venice. Specifically, the client wanted that the ground floor was composed of elements taken from the museum, while the next two floors were inspired by the gallery. The attic plan, on the other hand, presents a row of splendid elliptical windows that recall the San Marco library.
