Full Description

A well-maintained detached house located in the village of Kambanos approximately 10minutes from Sougia. Due to the home being built on a slope, the main house is all one level with ground floor access, with the basement again having ground floor access due to the slope of the plot. The basement is incomplete with only a guest bedroom and a storage room completed.

The main house has direct asphalt road access. The home has a perimeter boundary with a gate and parking is available for at least two cars. The front courtyard is paved and tiled with a BBQ area in the one corner.

The main entrance opens into an open living, dining and kitchen area. A traditional fireplace sits in the corner of the living room giving character and warmth to the room. A counter separates the kitchen from the dining area. The kitchen is fully fitted with wood cabinets and all electrical appliances.

A hallway leads you to the two double bedrooms with fitted wardrobes and each bedroom has back balcony access. The bathroom with a bathtub is adjacent to the bedrooms.

The lower back garden has various trees and enough space for the construction of a pool and an outdoor entertainment area.

This property is well worth seeing as it has the potential of becoming a great rental property due to its good location and the additional building allowance still available.

Selino is a comparatively large region which extends approximately from the west coast of Crete to the western foothills of the White Mountains. Its northern part starts at the North-South water dividing line of the hills and it ends on the shores of the Libyan Sea to the South.

Selino is a fertile hilly region, and its main products are olives and grapes on the southern hills of central Selino.

The small fishing village of Sougia in the south-west of Crete, 75 km southwest of the city of Chania, has managed to remain unaffected by the growth of tourism in Crete. It is still a peaceful haven, with a long beach, plenty of good accommodation and excellent places to eat, all at prices below those found in most of the island.

From early April to late October Sougia attracts visitors looking for a relaxing holiday away from mass-tourism. Whilst you can choose to do very little apart from lazing on the beach or enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of a few beach front cafés there are also a number of beautiful walks you can do in the region. The village has appealed to visitors from northern Europe since the early 1970s and many of the people that you will meet in Sougia have been visiting quite a few times.
