Villa Markus is located in a quiet area, off the main road, coming into the village of Zigos from the north. It is approximately a 50 minute drive to Corfu Town and a 20 minute drive to reach all necessary amenities in the bustling town of Acharavi.

The functional villa is on two levels, each with their own separate entrance. It has been cleverly designed in that it can be lived in by one large family or used as two individual two-bedroom apartments.

The lower floor has a WC in the hallway through the main door. Through this entrance is an open planned living room/dining room with a large, modern kitchen. Off the sitting area are two spacious bedroom with en-suite shower rooms. One bedroom has access to the swimming pool and the other has a cozy little covered terrace to the side of the house.

The wooden staircase leads up to the upper floor with a similar layout to the ground level. This staircase can be closed off with a wooden trap door to isolate the two floors from each other dividing the villa in two.

The upper floor has its own entrance and unlike the ground floor there is an open fireplace in the living room which currently has a lovely woodburner installed for extra heat. The two bedrooms on this level share a large bathroom.

All bedrooms in the villa have beautiful oak floors imported from the UK and the rest of the house is tiled.

There is central heating throughout and air condition units in all rooms. Water is heated with a solar panel boiler. The gate at the entrance is electric and the entire property and land is fenced allowing for privacy and a very serene atmosphere.

Through the main gate is a large multi-purpose garage to the side. This space can be used as a workshop or a car garage or even be converted to an extra guest house.

The vast swimming pool has an outdoor shower and looks out to the northern coast of the island. In the gardens is an outdoor sitting area under a lovely pergola.
