Full Description

Inspired by the words of Antoni Tàpies, this 2 bedroom flat in Laranjeiras is a true journey into a world where art and home merge in perfect harmony.
The Klimt Art House presents this space not just as a place to live, but as a blank canvas for your life.
Visual Harmony and Aesthetic Comfort
Upon entering, you are immediately enveloped by the luminosity and spaciousness of the living room, integrated with a contemporary design kitchen that extends over 25m2. Here, each element was thought of as a brushstroke on a canvas, where natural light becomes the artist, highlighting the ceiling with built-in LED lights - a true spectacle of shadows and lights.
Cuisine as Artistic Expression
The kitchen, equipped with built-in appliances, is an invitation to culinary creativity, where each meal is transformed into a sensory work of art. As in a still life painting, every detail has been carefully chosen to combine form and function.
Rooms: Portraits of Tranquility
The two bedrooms, one of which is a suite, are like private galleries, offering refuge and inspiration. Built-in wardrobes are like elegant frames, maximising space and maintaining the aesthetics of the set.
Mezzanine: A Space of Creative Freedom
The 22m2 mezzanine is a stage for your imagination, a studio where every square metre can be transformed according to your inspiration - whether as an art studio, office or a reading corner.
Bathroom: Symphony of Elegance and Functionality
Each element has been selected to compose a symphony of elegance and functionality, offering a daily refuge for renewal and inspiration.
Details that Tell the Story
The white lacquered window frames with double glazing and tilt-and-stop windows and the pre-installation of air conditioning are like the final brushstrokes of a master, ensuring comfort and beauty.
A Building in Renovation: A Commitment to the Art of Living
The building, in a phase of artistic renovation, symbolises the rebirth, as well as a blank canvas ready to be transformed.
This flat is more than a space to live in; It is an invitation to inhabit art, to live inside a masterpiece that awaits your signature. To find out more about this space where life imitates art, contact the Klimt Art House.
This description seeks to reflect Klimt Art House's association with art, while offering an inspiring view of the flat.
Antoni Tàpies was a Catalan painter, sculptor and art theorist, born in Barcelona on December 13, 1923 and died in the same city on February 6, 2012. Considered one of the main representatives of the informalist art movement in Europe, Tàpies stood out for his works that integrated unconventional materials and explored textures and symbolism.
Since the 1940s, Tàpies began to gain recognition with his paintings and collages that incorporated materials such as earth, paper and fabric, creating textures and shapes that broke with traditional painting techniques. His work was strongly influenced by existential and spiritual questions, as well as by the political context of Spain under the Franco dictatorship.
In the 1950s, Tàpies gained international recognition, being part of avant-garde art movements. He was one of the founders of the group Dau al Set, which was influential in the post-war Catalan artistic field.
His art was often marked by a strong material expression, where he used texture and volume to explore themes such as matter, space, and the interplay between art and reality.
Tàpies did not limit himself only to painting and sculpture, but was also the author of writing about art, in which he reflected on the nature of art and its function in society. He believed that art could be a powerful tool for knowledge and personal and social transformation.
Throughout his career, Antoni Tàpies has received numerous awards and recognitions, and his works have been exhibited in important museums and galleries around the world. He is remembered as an artist who challenged the limits of conventional art and sought, through his work, a deep connection between art, life, and spirituality. His legacy continues to be a source of inspiration for artists and contemporary art lovers.
