Full Description

Here we have a beautiful large family home, which unfortunately is no longer used or required by its current owners. The two-story 486m2 house sits back off of the passing road and is reached through security gates into a long private drive has five bedrooms and five bathrooms, two large living areas, a large fully fitted kitchen, a private indoor swimming pool, and a huge solarium which runs the full length of one side of the house.
The totally individually designed rustic house which was constructed in 2004 by the owner’s own building company from Oliva, just outside of Gandia in Valencia. Built to a high standard, with quality materials and an eye for detail, the house has some lovely and very individual features.
The property has been professionally installed with modern wiring, music system, all new water and heating pipework and central heating boiler. There are plenty of radiators throughout the house with the addition of two big open fireplaces, one in the snug area at the end of the main lounge, and the other in one corner of the large kitchen. The house has a very large industrial size generator but would certainly benefit from the installation of a modern Lithium-Ion solar system inside of the huge separate garage.
The main house is entered from either the front or rear side doors which take you into the glass winter garden, a wonderful large area to sit and enjoy, staying warm in the winter sun. From here you enter the large main dining room with large open fireplace towards the rear elevation, and separate access to a large double ground floor bedroom with large ensuite, an indoor swimming pool, with separate shower and toilet, a large fully fitted kitchen with lots of cupboard space, and lovely solid granite worktops. Each room in the entire inside of the house is extremely naturally well lit. From this open lounge area, a solid marble stairway takes you to a second large lounge/chillout on the next floor. From here you will find a further four large bedrooms, three bathrooms, extra storage cupboards, a very large utility room and a private roof terrace. From this floor there are some excellent views across the surrounding countryside, orange and olive groves towards the distant mountains. Outside the house the land is completely fenced in and has a quantity of different size outbuildings.
Behind the house is the huge garage, and ideal space for a workshop/studio, or maybe the storage of some classic vehicles. The new lithium-Ion solar energy system would be connected to the main house using the existing main wiring from the previously installed lead acid battery system. The swimming pool filter, pump and associated plumbing are also installed in this area. Due to the fact nothing has been utilized at the house for over ten years, both systems would require some professional inspection and servicing and possible repair before reconnection could take place.
To the side of this garage there is a large, covered Paella kitchen, the main oil-fired central heating boiler cupboard, and various other cupboards. On the other side of the garage there is another outbuilding housing the main 10kw standby generator, and further storage.
Between the rear elevation of the house and the garage there is a large purpose-built sturdy sunshade/carport with plenty of space for two large vehicles. The complete drive from the rear of the house to the front electric gate is level and has been professionally block paved. The front garden also has its own storage house for garden equipment etc, or maybe a studio or study. Behind this little house is another stretch of garden belonging to the property. This land is also fenced and continues down towards the passing road.
If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. If you wanted to, here you could live completely self-sufficient. Yet in less than ten minutes you can be in the nearest village of Villalonga with all the amenities one could require. Gandia and its beautiful golden sandy award-winning beaches are just another twenty minutes away.
