There is a shop and bar 2 km walk away and the foothills of the Apennines where an Agriturismo and restaurant can be found. A great adventure would be to walk or cycle there for lunch. This location is close to Abetone for winter skiing and the ancient walled town of Lucca famed for its history and excellent shopping on Via Filungo. The famous Leaning Tower of Pisa is only an hour drive away.
