The Grand Cascade of Mortain, aka 'the biggest waterfall in the west' is particularly popular and there are plenty of walking routes and rock climbing. Talking of biking, the voie Verte cycle route network is easily accessible, so day-trips on two wheels are very easy to arrange.

The larger town of Vire is about 20mins from the property should you need any of the larger shops or supplies. Major towns such as Domfront, Avranches, St Lo, Falaise, Bayeux and Honfleur are all within easy reach. Caen / Ouistreham and St Malo ferry ports are equidistant and the beach is just under an hour away.
