The apartment is divided into two rooms, the living area and a bedroom. The former is very large, L-shaped, and designed to take full advantage of Sicily's 300 annual days of sunshine. Morning sun comes streaming in through the wall to the east, which has been fully glazed with a sliding door that opens onto a roomy balcony. The views of the valley make the perfect breakfast backdrop. The wall to the south has no windows, but glass bricks have been liberally added into the wall, allowing beautiful patterns of light to play out across the room all throughout the day.

The bedroom has a garden view, and although it is much smaller than the kitchen-living room, it has plenty of storage space in the form of an alcove closet. An en-suite bathroom with a cubicle shower has been brightly finished in clean white tiles.

The property comes with shared ownership of a beautiful garden and grounds that are filled with some incredible features. Best of all is the sparking swimming pool, an unbeatable spot to cool off in the heat of the Sicilian summer. The roof terrace is huge, 65m, with some amazing panoramic views over the little village of Rodì Milici and the green hillsides that frame it. The condominium fee, which covers the maintenance of all of this, is a very reasonable €50 per month.

A Rural Location with Fabulous Nature in all Directions
Rodì Milici is a typical Sicilian village, quiet and certainly not touristy, notwithstanding the small complex in which Castello Rosso stands. The nearest beach is just ten minutes away, and if you prefer your nature a bit more high altitude you can reach the slopes of both the Nebrodi Natural Park and Mount Etna in a short drive. Out to sea are the spectacular Aeolian Islands, and the glamour of Taormina is only 30km to the south.
