The gardenThe house has a pretty and relatively flat plot of land of over ½ acre, bordered by a stone retaining wall at the front and metal fences on the sides and rear. A pedestrian gate opens onto the concrete staircase leading to the entrance. Various small wooden and sheet metal lean-to’s are present and can be used to store wood and small garden equipment. The well, which has water all year round, is accessible via a thick concrete cover. Small channels have been built around the house to drain rainwater to the road below.SurroundingsThere are no immediate neighbours, but the departmental road passes along the edge of the land. This makes it easy to get to Uzerche and the motorway linking Brive-la-Gaillarde to Limoges. The village of Chamberet, just over 5 minutes from the house, has basic amenities and a primary school. The small town of Treignac has a middle school and benefits from the necessary amenities and sports facilities. Brive and Limoges airports are about 50 minutes away.
