Beautiful century old, country house in perfect condition, in the municipality of Cudillero. There are three entrances into the house, however, the main entrance is via a lovely covered patio, leading directly into the kitchen. Here we find a great example of the traditional coal and wood burning stoves (cocina de leña), which are perfect not just for cooking on, but also for heating the whole house. The kitchen has plenty of modern appliances including a fridge freezer, washing machine, ceramic hob, microwave and a 100 litre water heater which is located in the space high above the kitchen. Additionally there is an original and working bread oven in the kitchen for all those who love to make their own bread or pizza. To the rear of the kitchen is a stone clad room with tall ceilings, which is currently a sitting room, but could be a bedroom if required. The floors in this room and the kitchen are covered in beautiful and unusual Italian tiles which is a wonderful feature in itself. There is a door from the sitting room/bedroom out to the side of the property where you can see the remains of an old water channel from the a water mill, which is what this house would originally have been used for. There's also a path leading out to the side of the house.  Also from this room are stairs leading up to a platform which is suspended over the kitchen and gives access to a lovely attic style bedroom. Through an open doorway to the side of the kitchen, you enter the impressive lounge and dining room. This is a large comfortable space with windows looking out onto the stunning countryside. In addition there are a wood burner to keep the house warm in winter, wooden floors and ceilings, stone walls with built-in shelving and exposed beams. The two rooms that lead off from the lounge are a dressing room and the master bedroom, both with wonderful views from the windows. To the far end of the dining area is the shower room and the third entrance into the house. This door leads onto a covered porch and to the left, a lovely sunny patio.

Garden and Panera

To the right of the terrace as you exit the house from the kitchen, are steps leading up to the land. The land which is slightly sloping up from the house, measures 938m2 and is fenced all around. there are various mature trees planted on the land including walnut, olive, fig and a huge holly tree. There's also a useful shed on the land in great condition and water is available from the specially installed tap to allow for irrigating plants and vegetables. There are various mature plants dotted around the perimeter of the house, including bougainvillaea, jasmine, fuchsia and yuccas to name a few. The panera is the traditional Asturian grain store which is iconic of the region. This one is in perfect condition and measures 30m2. Inside is it fitted with wood panelling and makes a very welcoming warm space with the addition of low energy electric radiators. A perfect space for family gatherings, visiting guests, an ideal office space or a chill out area to read a book or paint, for example.  Beneath the panera is space to park your car.
