Surroundings

Triscina is a small seaside resort that belongs to the municipality of Castelvetrano and is located in the extreme south-west of Sicily in the province of Trapani. It is a summer resort for the surrounding towns such as Palermo, Trapani and Marsala. The beach is really “top”, the place lives from it, some bars and stores are also open in winter, but the real life here is from June to the end of September.

During the rest of the year it is quiet here, long walks on the beach, bike tours, enjoying the sun and exploring the surrounding area are the order of the day. Mazara del Vallo is also not far away and is home to the largest fishing port in Sicily. Sciacca and Menfi are also interesting excursion destinations just a few kilometers away. Even closer is the largest excavation area of ancient treasures in Europe, just a few minutes away: Selinunte.

I particularly liked the location of this house. Usually the streets in Triscina are very narrow and you live wall to wall with your neighbor. That is absolutely not the case here. But some people are looking for exactly that! So my recommendation, this property is perfect. The owner and builder have thought of everything.
